Moser-Baer India Ltd. reported unaudited standalone earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2016. For the quarter, net sales /income from operations was INR 151.91 million compared to INR 137.92 million a year ago. Loss from operations before other income finance cost and exceptional items was INR 248.2 million compared to INR 509.4 million a year ago. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 2,236.3 million against INR 2,849.8 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 2,236.3 million or INR 10.08 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared to INR 2,849.8 million or INR 6.01 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items a year ago.   For the six months, net sales /income from operations was INR 3,068.1 million. Loss from operations before other income finance cost and exceptional items was INR 457.9 million. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 3,075.2 million. Net loss was INR 3,075.2 million or INR 13.87 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items.
