Serbia's infrastructure ministry announced it signed a RSD 310 million ($3.2 million/€2.6 million) agreement with Jedinstvo for the overhaul of a water treatment plant in Uzice, in the west of the country. The project includes the installation of active coal water filtering technology, which completely eliminates the influence of algae and enables the safe use of water from the Vrutci artificial lake. The works, which will take eight months, represent the second and final phase of the modernisation of the Petar Antonijevic water purification plant.
