Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. announced the following representative director changes, following a resolution made at the Board of Directors meeting held on April 30, 2020. The company announced the retirement of Toru Inoue, Representative Director and Senior Executive Vice President due to the expiration of the team of office at the end of the 84th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in late June 2020. As a result of the above change, Company will have two representative directors, Tsuneo Murata (Appointment as Chairman of the Board, Representative Director) and Norio Nakajima (Appointment as President and Representative Director).
Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is one of the world leaders in design, production and marketing of innovative electronic components for the telecommunications and automobile sectors, etc. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- electronic components (74.4%): capacitors, piezoelectric components, etc.;
- modules (22.4%);
- other (3.2%).
