Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was JPY 439,394 million compared to JPY 418,978 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 49,358 million compared to JPY 51,049 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was JPY 26.13 compared to JPY 27.02 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was JPY 1,249,744 million compared to JPY 1,339,202 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 174,512 million compared to JPY 212,820 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was JPY 92.37 compared to JPY 112.08 a year ago.
