Nanjing Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 138.821 million compared to CNY 63.596 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 116.008 million compared to operating loss of CNY 35.168 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 117.337 million compared to net loss of CNY 36.176 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.32 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.1 a year ago.
Nanjing Chemical Fibre Co Ltd is a China-based company principally engaged in the production and sales of viscose staple fiber, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) structural core materials, and urban ecological water supply business. The Company primarily operates businesses through four segments. The Chemical segment is mainly engaged in the sales business of urban ecological water supply. The Bio-based segment mainly provides viscose staple fiber and lyocell fiber products. Shanghai Yueke segment mainly provides PET structural core material products. The Other segment is mainly engaged in the leasing of fixed assets, intangible assets, packaging materials, sales materials and other business. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
