National Bank of Pakistan Announces Executive Appointments

National Bank of Pakistan (the Bank) is a Pakistan-based commercial bank. The Bank is engaged in providing commercial banking and related services in Pakistan and overseas. The Bank also handles treasury transactions for the Government of Pakistan (GoP) as an agent to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Bank operates through six segments: Retail Banking Group, Inclusive Development Group, Corporate and Investment Banking, Treasury, International Financial Institution and Remittance, and Head Office / Others. Retail Banking Group includes retail lending and deposits, banking services, cards, and branchless banking. Inclusive Development Group consists of loans to individuals, agriculture, small and medium enterprises (SME), commodity and commercial customers. The Bank also provides services in respect of endowment funds for student loan schemes. The Bank operates approximately 1,509 branches in Pakistan, including 188 Islamic Banking branches and 18 overseas branches.
