Jara Resources Pty Ltd acquired 17% stake in New Standard Energy Limited (ASX:NSE) from Magnum Hunter Resources Corp. (NYSE:MHR) for AUD 0.72 million on October 20, 2015. As part of transaction, Jara Resources acquired 65.65 million shares of New Standard Energy Limited. H C Kip Ferguson III and Jeffrey Swanson, Directors of New Standard Energy resigned from their positions. Cameron Morse at FTI Consulting acted as PR advisor for the transaction. PJT Partners Inc. (NYSE:PJT) acted as the financial advisor and Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as the legal advisor to Magnum Hunter Resources Corp.
