Energa Wytwarzanie from the listed fuel concern Orlen and Canadian company Northland Power have established a joint venture, the Baltic Offshore Service Solution company - a consortium offering a comprehensive management service for offshore wind farms. The release indicated that the company will provide specialised maintenance services for the offshore wind energy sector, related to technical, operational, commercial and contractual aspects, among others. Baltic Offshore Service Solution will also be responsible for the operation of Orlen Group's planned 24/7 Offshore Wind Farm Management Centre. This unit will control, monitor and coordinate the operations of offshore assets.

Northland owns or has interests in generation sources with an installed capacity of 3.4 GW (net 2.9 GW). The company manages both onshore renewable energy sources and offshore wind farms in North America and Europe, achieving a combined annual energy production of more than 10000 GWh. Orlen Group and Northland are jointly developing the Baltic Power offshore wind farm project, with a capacity of up to 1.2 GW, which will start producing energy in 2026.
