Novatek Microelectronics Corp. Reports Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and Six Months Ended June 30, 2023

Novatek Microelectronics Corp. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 30,299.03 million compared to TWD 31,461.14 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 6,871.9 million compared to TWD 8,486.74 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 11.29 compared to TWD 13.95 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 11.29 compared to TWD 13.92 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 54,344.91 million compared to TWD 67,972.83 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 11,623.74 million compared to TWD 19,621.66 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 19.1 compared to TWD 32.25 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 19.08 compared to TWD 32.18 a year ago.
Novatek Microelectronics Corp is mainly engaged in the manufacture of electronic components, information software services and international trade. The Company's main products include flat-panel display drive wafers and system-on-chip (SOC) wafers. Flat-panel display drive wafers mainly include large-size liquid crystal display (LCD) and active matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) panel drive wafers, LCD touch and touch controller and display drive integration (TDDI) and AMOLED drive wafers for mobile phones, and automotive panel drive wafers. SOC wafers include LCD panel timing control wafers, digital TV system control single wafers, LCD monitor control wafers, motion estimation and motion compensation (MEMC) image processing wafers, driving recorders, image sensor wafers for reversing display, security control wafers, image sensor wafers for external computer cameras.
