Organización Cultiba, S.A.B. de C.V. announced consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of MXN 5,771 million as compared to MXN 4,939 million for the same period last year. Income from operations was MXN 243 million as compared to MXN 312 million for the same period last year. Income before tax provisions was MXN 174 million as compared to MXN 223 million for the same period last year. Net income was MXN 28 million as compared to MXN 106 million for the same period last year. EBITDA was MXN 602 million as compared to MXN 580 million for the same period last year. EBITDA margin was 10.4% as compared to 11.7% for the same period last year.
For the six months, the company reported net sales of MXN 10,702 million as compared to MXN 9,105 million for the same period last year. Income from operations was MXN 442 million as compared to MXN 452 million for the same period last year. Income before tax provisions was MXN 352 million as compared to MXN 298 million for the same period last year. Net income was MXN 201 million as compared to MXN 101 million for the same period last year. EBITDA was MXN 1,14 million as compared to MXN 1,001 million for the same period last year. Net Debt was MXN 1,028 million as compared to MXN 3,953 million for the same period last year. Capital expenditures through June 30, 2017 were MXN 128 million, compared to MXN 1,822 million in the first six months of 2016.

The Company has license from Pepsi-Co Inc to produce, distribute and sell mainly the Pepsi Cola, Manzanita Sol, Mirinda, Kas, Gatorade, Lipton, Be Light, Mountain Dew and Seven Up soft drink trademarks.
