(Alliance News) - Innovatec Spa and OSAI Automation System Spa let it be known Tuesday that their respective subsidiaries, Haiki+ Srl and Osai Green Tech Società Benefit are launching an important collaboration project "to explore plant development opportunities for the circular economy sector, with specific focus on material recovery from certain categories of waste that will be jointly defined during the course of the partnership," according to the released note.

Haiki+, is the sub-holding of the Innovatec group active in the environmental and circular economy business with a plurality of material treatment, recovery and recycling plants: "Haiki's mission is to develop a network of plants aimed at equipping Innovatec with an increasing capacity to extract value from waste, making significant technological investments independently and through strategic partnerships."

Osai Green Tech Benefit Company, is an Osai Group company, active in the design, production and marketing of industrial automation systems for the circular economy sector, which recently presented at the latest edition of Ecomondo.

"Haiki+ and Osai Green Tech are betting heavily on innovation and automation to improve material recovery and to increase the overall recycling index with the intention of preserving critical raw materials as much as possible by recovering those trapped in waste."

Innovatec trades in the green 1.5 percent to EUR1.66 per share and OSAI is in the red 1.9 percent to EUR3.44 per share.
