Petrol's board member Matija Biten has resigned to focus on his role as general manager of wholesale natural gas supplier Geoplin. Petrol's supervisory board accepted the resignation of Bitenc who took up the board member function in March 2020 and was responsible for finance, accounting, treasury, business intelligence, controlling, risk management and back office. The function of Bilenc as board member of Petrol ended on December 8, 2023, but he will remain with the company until January 4, 2024, to hand over his duties and responsibilities.
