Qatar Electricity & Water Company Q.P.S.C. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was QAR 779.4 million compared to QAR 691.79 million a year ago. Revenue was QAR 798.12 million compared to QAR 711.13 million a year ago. Net income was QAR 340.43 million compared to QAR 565.4 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was QAR 0.31 compared to QAR 0.51 a year ago.

The Company operates plants for the generation of electricity and desalination of water in the State of Qatar, and sells its products to the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation. The Companyâs subsidiaries include Ras Laffan Operating Company WLL, which is engaged in the management, operation, maintenance and development of electricity and water desalination plants in Qatar, and Ras Laffan Power Company Limited QSC, which is engaged to develop, own, operate and maintain an electricity and water desalination plant in Qatar.
