Sansei Technologies, Inc. announced consolidated earnings results for the quarter ended June 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 4,451 million compared to JPY 3,817 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 158 million compared to operating loss of JPY 82 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 230 million compared to ordinary loss of JPY 10 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 122 million compared to operating loss of JPY 148 million a year ago. Diluted EPS was JPY 6.65 compared to diluted loss per share of JPY 8.08 a year ago.
For the year ending March 2015, the company expects net sales of JPY 22,000 million, operating income of JPY 1,500 million, ordinary income of JPY 1,600 million and net income of JPY 900 million or JPY 48.90 per share.
Sansei Technologies, Inc., formerly SANSEI YUSOKI CO., LTD., is primarily engaged in the manufacture and installation of stage machinery, gaming machines, elevating machines and others. The Manufacture segment manufactures and installs stage machinery and elevating machinery for theaters and culture halls, art equipment such as electric decoration devices in television stations, events and concert venues, gaming machines such as roller coasters and towers, and elevating machinery such as elevators, escalators and packing devices. It also purchases products and conducts maintenance work. In addition, the Company is also involved in operation and provision of leisure facilities in amusement parks, and management of parks owned by the Company.
