Santeon Group, Inc. announced that its eBenefits Network has been named a preferred vendor by Health Care Services Corporation for their Blue Cross and Blue Shield ("BCBS") organizations in five states. The designation means that more small- and mid-size BCBS clients in Texas, Illinois, New Mexico, Montana and Oklahoma will now be able to take advantage of the eBenefits Network to automate their employee benefit enrollments. Santeon's eBenefits Network ("eBN") is a cloud-based service that makes it easier for employers to manage employee benefits.

The network automates the benefits enrollment process by seamlessly and securely integrating an employer's HR system with those of their benefit insurance carriers and providers. With eBN, employers gain the benefits of on-time and error-free enrollment updates, including elimination of error-related premium costs, an improved benefit usage experience and reduction of HR and IT workloads. Since eBN's launch in 2011, Santeon has seen widespread adoption of the platform serving over 850,000 members and supporting over 300 benefit insurance carriers and providers nationally.

By achieving preferred vendor status through HCSC's Automated Electronic Processing program, Santeon has proven consistently fast, efficient and accurate processing of employers' group enrollment/eligibility transactions. For their clients communicating plan enrollment transactions through Santeon eBN, HCSC will reduce the minimum group size requirements for automated electronic processing. For BCBS of Texas, New Mexico, Montana and Oklahoma, that means any group plan that insures 51+ lives.

For BCBS of Illinois, the minimum is two lives. HCSC will also waive file processing fees for their clients, who can also expect much shorter implementation times.
