Soares da Costa has won three tenders for projects worth EUR 103 million (USD 136.8 million) in Brazil, Angola and Mozambique. Apart from boosting its backlog, the firm also diversified its operations in geographic terms through the contracts. In Brazil, the company received an order for the construction of homes and the respective infrastructure in Fortaleza, in the northeastern state of Ceara.

The investment value of the projects stands at BRL 84 million (USD 37.4 million/EUR 28.2 million). The project in Angola envisages the construction of a building that will host the headquarters of domestic electricity company ENE in Luanda. The value of the order is worth USD 46.9 million (EUR 35.3 million).

The company will also build an office building for USD 25 million and a building for a call centre for USD 11.6 million in Angola.
