Ser Educacional S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported net loss was BRL 39.09 million compared to net income of BRL 25.7 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.304 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of BRL 0.19964 a year ago.
For the six months, net loss was BRL 57.41 million compared to net income of BRL 55.77 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.44645 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of BRL 0.43323 a year ago.
