Under the program, the company will repurchase 500,000 shares, representing 6.64% of the outstanding shares, at ¥1,731 per share for ¥875 million. The purpose of the program is to implement a flexible capital policy in response to changes in the business environment and to improve capital efficiency and shareholder returns. As of September 30, 2017, the company had 7,532,356 shares outstanding and 279,372 shares in treasury.
