Smart Ventures, Inc. (OTCPK:SMVR) announced that it will receive $5,000,000 in funding from Redline International, Inc. on March 11, 2014.
On March 18, 2014, the company announced that it has amended the terms of the transaction. the comapny announced that it will issue common shares at a price between $0.03-$0.05 per share for gross proceeds up to $10,000,000. The transaction will also see participation from other institutional investors.
Smart Ventures, Inc. is engaged in engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) business in The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo). The Company is also engaged in mining business in DR Congo region. The Company serves in specialty chemicals market as a supplier of defoamer products used in the oil and gas industry. It also plans to launch a chemical exchange business-to-business (B2B) platform for commercial buyers to submit purchase orders, and to purchase over 100 defoamer products offered by its supplier in China and the United States. The Company has approximately 80 acres of oil and gas mineral lease in Florida. The Company owns interest in a subsidiary company, Cannabis Funding Group, Inc., which is engaged in investing in Cannabis related businesses. Its subsidiary also includes Cannabis Funding Group, LP. The Company, through its subsidiary, International Equity Partners Oil & Gas, Inc., holds interest in gold mining assets in Colorado.
