Baillie Gifford & Co, acting on behalf of clients and funds under its management, declared to the AMF that on November 29 it had exceeded the threshold of 5% of Soitec's share capital, following the acquisition of shares on the market.

The Scottish management company stated that it held 1,793,958 Soitec shares representing the same number of voting rights, i.e. 5.02% of the capital and 3.90% of the voting rights of the semiconductor materials supplier.
