Tekfen Holding Anonim Sirketi reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TRY 7,699.32 million compared to TRY 3,630.95 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 972.17 million compared to TRY 317.19 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 2.627 compared to TRY 0.857 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TRY 12,995.15 million compared to TRY 7,421.54 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 1,077.61 million compared to TRY 729.35 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 2.912 compared to TRY 1.971 a year ago.
Tekfen Holding AS (Tekfen) is a Turkey-based holding company active in various sectors, such as construction, agriculture, finance and real estate through its affiliates and subsidiaries. The Company operates five segments: Contracting, Agri-Industry, Real Estate Development, Banking and Investment and Services. Tekfenâs Contracting Groupâs activities include infrastructural and industrial projects in several countries, like Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Bulgaria. Tekfen also engages in the production of chemical fertilizers, seed and seedlings, along with power generation and terminal operations.
