Tekfen Holding Anonim Sirketi reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TRY 3,598.84 million compared to TRY 2,693.24 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 463.19 million compared to net loss of TRY 14.59 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 1.252 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TRY 0.039 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TRY 11,020.38 million compared to TRY 8,373.59 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 1,192.53 million compared to TRY 130.66 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 3.223 compared to TRY 0.353 a year ago.
Tekfen Holding AS (Tekfen) is a Turkey-based holding company active in various sectors, such as construction, agriculture, finance and real estate through its affiliates and subsidiaries. The Company operates five segments: Contracting, Agri-Industry, Real Estate Development, Banking and Investment and Services. Tekfenâs Contracting Groupâs activities include infrastructural and industrial projects in several countries, like Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Bulgaria. Tekfen also engages in the production of chemical fertilizers, seed and seedlings, along with power generation and terminal operations. The Companyâs Real Estate Development Group is primarily involved in the design, construction, renting and marketing of shopping centers, office buildings, flats and hotels.
