The Chugoku Electric Power Company Announces Financial Results for the First Quarter Ended June 30,2014; Provides Revenue Guidance for the Year Ending March 31, 2015
The Chugoku Electric Power Company announced financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported recurring profit of JPY 19.7 billion against recurring loss of JPY 13.7 billion a year ago. Net income was JPY 12.62 billion, or JPY 34.82 per share, for the first quarter ended June 30, 2014, compared to a net loss of JPY 9.66 billion, or JPY 26.65 loss per share for the same quarter ended June 30, 2013. Operating revenues were JPY 307.32 billion compared to JPY 279 billion for the same quarter ended June 30, 2013. Ordinary income was JPY 19.72 billion, compared to an ordinary loss of JPY 13.71 billion for the same quarter ended June 30, 2013. Operating income for the first quarter ended June 30, 2014 was JPY 23.53 billion, compared to an operating loss of JPY 9.93 billion for the same quarter ended June 30, 2013.
The company expects operating revenues of JPY 1.31 trillion for the year ending March 31, 2015.
