Catalyst Principal Partners signed an agreement to acquire 95% stake in Chai Bora Limited from Transcentury Group.

TransCentury Plc specializes in manufacturing and marketing equipments for the civil engineering infrastructure construction sector. Net sales break down by activity as follows: - manufacturing and sale of electricity transportation and distribution equipments (69.5%): power cables, conductors, power transformers, industrial automation, generators, and turnkey power plants; - sale of engineering products and services (29.9%): mechanic and civil engineering equipments, industrial equipments, mining and logistics services, development of energy projects, etc. The group also develops a management under concession of railway transport infrastructures activity; - other (0.6%). Net sales break down geographically as follows: Kenya (57%), Tanzania (38.8%), Zambia (1.7%), Uganda (1.3%), Congo (1.1%) and South Africa (0.1%).
