SYDNEY--Toll-road operator Transurban maintained its fiscal 2024 distribution guidance after traffic across its Australian and U.S. assets hit a record in the September quarter.

Transurban on Thursday said average daily traffic in its fiscal first quarter climbed 3% on-year to 2.5 million trips. North American average daily trips rose 5% on-year after the opening of the Greater Washington area's Fredericksburg Extension mainline during the quarter.

The remaining elements of the Fredericksburg Extension are expected to open by the end of December, Transurban said.

The Australia-listed company maintained guidance for full-year distribution of 62 Australian cents (39.3 U.S. cents) a share.
