Türkiye Garanti Bankasi AS announced that it appointed Gökhan Erün and Onur Genç deputy CEOs effective Sept. 2, following receipt of regulatory approvals. The Turkish bank also appointed Avni Aydin Düren corporate secretary, a newly established position that will directly report to the board of directors.
Düren's new role is in addition to his existing role of executive vice president of legal services and collection. Garanti Bankasi said it accepted the resignations of: Turgay Gönensin, executive vice president of domestic and overseas subsidiaries coordination; Adnan Memis, executive vice president of support services; Aydin Senel, executive vice president of purchasing and tax management; and Erhan Adali, executive vice president of loans, effective Sept. 2.
