Uchumi Supermarkets Limited (NASE:UCHM.O) will sell 20 acres in Kasarani as part of its plans to raise cash for its turnaround programme. Director James Murigu said Uchumi has a lot of non-core assets which the firm could sell to raise money for its operations and avoid a government bailout.
