United Homes Group, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 87.73 million compared to USD 111.05 million a year ago. Net income was USD 150.84 million compared to USD 15.67 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.12 compared to USD 0.42 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.35 compared to USD 0.4 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 304.65 million compared to USD 361.95 million a year ago. Net income was USD 191.7 million compared to USD 58.59 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 4.29 compared to USD 1.68 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.61 compared to USD 1.66 a year ago.
United Homes Group, Inc. is a residential builder. The Company designs, builds and sells homes in high growth markets, including South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. It has 63 active communities. UHG principally builds detached single-family houses, and, to a lesser extent, attached single-family houses, including duplex houses and town houses. The Company operates through two segments: South Carolina and Other. South Carolina segment consists primarily of the Companyâs homebuilding operations in South Carolina and a small amount of operations in Georgia. Other segment consists of homebuilding operations in Raleigh, NC, as well as the Companyâs mortgage banking joint venture. It leases local offices in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Mauldin, South Carolina and Raleigh, North Carolina. The Company has delivered approximately 14,000 homes.
