Voltamp Energy SAOG Announces the Resignation of Eng. Ahmed Bin Hamad Bins Saif-Al-Subhi as Board Member

Voltamp Energy SAOG is an Oman-based joint stock company engaged, along with its subsidiaries, in the manufacture, sale and distribution of transformers, low voltage switchgears and panels. The Company is organized into two business segments: the Transformers segment includes manufacture, sales, service and distribution of transformers, and the Low voltage switchgear and panels segment. In addition, the Company also provides maintenance contract, onsite assessment services and supervision of erection, among others. As of December 31, 2011, the Company’s wholly owned subsidiaries included Voltamp Transformers Oman LLC, which manufactures a range of distribution power and special transformers up to 15 megavolt ampere (MVA) 33 kilovolt (KV) class, as well as designs and manufactures multi-tap transformers required for the oil & gas sector, and Voltamp Power LLC, which is engaged in the manufacture of Large extra high voltage (EHV) Power Transformers at Sohar Industrial Estate.
