CALGARY, Alberta (AP) — CALGARY, Alberta (AP) — Western Energy Services Corp. (WEEEF) on Tuesday reported a loss of $5.8 million in its second quarter.

The Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had a loss of 17 cents per share.

The drilling services company posted revenue of $32 million in the period.

Western Energy Services Corp. (Western) is a Canada-based energy service company. The Company is focused on providing contract drilling services through its division, Horizon Drilling (Horizon) in Canada, and its wholly owned subsidiary, Stoneham Drilling Corporation (Stoneham) in the United States. Western provides well servicing and oilfield rental equipment services in Canada through its wholly owned subsidiary Western Production Services Corp. (Western Production Services).
