(1) March 2014

Mazda's total production volume in March 2014 increased 0.4% compared to March 2013 due to increased production of commercial vehicles.

Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from April 2013 through March 2014 increased 10.6% year-on-year due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's overseas production volume in March 2014 decreased 8.6% compared to March 2013, reflecting decreased production of commercial vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.2% (unchanged year-on-year), with a 3.0% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.5 points year-on-year) and a 4.4% total market share (up 0.2 points year-on-year).

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from April 2013 through March 2014 increased 12.6% year-on-year, due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.3% (up 0.2 points year-on-year), with a 2.8% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.2 points year-on-year) and a 4.3% total market share (up 0.1 points year-on-year).
