(MT Newswires) -- Tom Donnelly, CEO of Mazda North American Operations, has unveiled the brand's electrification strategy, with the introduction of new hybrid models and the goal of offering a full range of electrified vehicles by 2030. The current range includes the CX-70, the CX-90 in plug-in hybrid and mild hybrid versions, and the future CX-50 in hybrid version.

Mazda plans to adapt to market demands with a multi-solution strategy, including hybrids, plug-in hybrids and battery electric vehicles.

In terms of sales, Mazda recorded a 23% increase in December 2023, and has grown its market share every year for the past four years. The brand is focusing on the North American market and anticipates that 2024 will be its best year in the US in terms of performance.
