The school will receive $5,000 during a special check presentation ceremony on October 24, 2014 with former professional football running back and S&T Bank ambassador Jerome "The Bus" Bettis.

Schools across S&T Bank's 12-county footprint were invited to apply for the "S&T Bank My School, My Award" program. As part of the application, schools were asked how they would use the money to help increase educational opportunities for students. Applications were reviewed by a selection committee made up of S&T Bank personnel and the winner was selected on September 5, 2014.
