The board of directors of the Ajisen (China) Holdings Limited informed the shareholders of the company and potential investors that, based on the preliminary assessment of the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2020, it is expected that the Group will record a net loss ranging from approximately RMB 100 million to RMB 200 million for the Interim Period as compared to the profit attributable to owners of the company of approximately RMB 86 million for the six months ended 30 June 2019. The Board believes that the decline in the financial performance of the Group is primarily attributable to the decrease of approximately 45% in revenue of the Group for the Interim Period as compared to the corresponding period of 2019 as a result of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus ("COVID-19") in countries around the world.
