American Restaurant Partners, L.P. owns a 99% limited partnership interest in American Pizza Partners, L.P. (APP). Effective August 11, 1998, APP had 60% interest in Oklahoma Magic, L.P. (Magic). As of December 29, 1998, American Restaurant Partners owned and operated a total of 89 Pizza Hut restaurants. APP owned and operated 54 traditional Pizza Hut restaurants, 5 Pizza Hut delivery/carryout facilities and 3 dualbrand locations. Magic owned and operated 17 traditional Pizza Hut restaurants and 10 Pizza Hut delivery/carryout facilities. The Company operates the Pizza Hut restaurants under license from Pizza Hut, Inc.
