BANCO PICHINCHA S.A. Amerika Financiera SA announced a private placement of 1,000,000 common shares at PEN 1 per share for gross proceeds of PEN 1,000,000 on September 30, 2015. The shares are issued at its nominal value. The transaction included participation from existing investor, Banco Financiero del Perú S.A. On closing, the investor will continue to hold its 100% stake in the company.
On closing, the capital increased from PEN 13,138,008 to PEN 14,138,008. The new shares issued as part of the transaction carry the same rights as the existing shares. The transaction was approved at the shareholders meeting of the company.
