BIT Computer Co. Ltd. (KOSE:A032850) agreed to acquire an additional 2.56% stake in Bitplex Co., Ltd. for approximately KRW 430 million on February 29, 2012. BIT Computer will acquire 0.09 million shares of Bitplex in the transaction after which it will hold 28.19% stake in Bitplex. For the year ending December 31, 2011, Bitplex had total assets of KRW 219.2 billion, revenues of KRW 23.3 billion, net liabilities of KRW 8.7 billion and net income of KRW 1.3 billion. The transaction was resolved by the Board of Directors of BIT Computer Co. Ltd on February 29, 2012. The deal is expected to close on February 29, 2012.
