CAP-XX said its litigation with Kyocera AVX in Australia's Supreme Court Of New South Wales has been settled.

The London-listed, Australia-based maker of thin, prismatic supercapacitors said that each party agreed to pay its own costs and that it has no exposure to the costs of Kyocera AVX--formerly known as AVX Corporation and now a subsidiary of the Japanese ceramics and electronics manufacturer--as a result.

"The effect of the settlement is that CAP-XX has no litigation matters outstanding and the Board and management can focus fully on continuing to progress the CAP-XX business," the group said on Monday.

The dispute related to allegations that AVX breached its patent license agreement, including by failing to pay all royalties payable to CAP-XX, it had said in February 2022.
