Cipherlab Co.,Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 218.735 million compared to TWD 277.257 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 54.781 million compared to TWD 19.162 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 43.011 million compared to TWD 13.288 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.63 compared to TWD 0.19 a year ago.
Cipherlab Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research and development, manufacture and distribution of mobile computing systems and automatic data collection systems related products. The Companyâs primary products include handheld industrial computers, handheld automatic identification scanners and fixed terminal equipment. The Companyâs products are mainly used in the fields of warehousing management, assets management, inventory management, factory automation management and logistics automation management, among others. The Company mainly operates through five business segments: direct customers segment, agents segment, the United States of America (the USA) sales segment, China sales segment and others segment. The Company mainly exports its products to Europe, the Americas and Asia.
