DesignOne Japan, Inc. reported non-consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended November 30, 2018. For the quarter, the company's net sales were JPY 594 million compared to JPY 600 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 154 million compared to JPY 149 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 102 million compared to JPY 99 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 6.76 compared to JPY 6.57 a year ago. Diluted net income per share was JPY 6.73 compared to JPY 6.52 a year ago.
The company also provided earnings guidance for the year ending August 31, 2019. For the year, the company expects net sales of JPY 2,500 million, operating income of JPY 503 million and net income of JPY 332 million or JPY 21.97 per share.
