Elematec Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 94,966 million compared to JPY 121,241 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 2,190 million compared to JPY 4,061 million a year ago. Ordinary profit was JPY 2,160 million compared to JPY 4,207 million a year ago. Loss attributable to owners of parent was JPY 879 million compared to profit of JPY 3,060 million a year ago. Net loss per share was JPY 42.94 compared to net income per share of JPY 149.50 a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the year ending of March 31, 2017. For the period, the company expects net sales to be of JPY 203,500 million. Operating income expected to be of JPY 4,850 million. Ordinary profit expected to be of JPY 5,100 million. Profit attributable to owners of parent expected to be of JPY 1,300 million. Net income per share expected to be of JPY 63.50.
