Funkwerk AG is a Germany-based holding company specialized in solution-oriented information and communication systems for such applications as transport and traffic, vehicles security and data networks. The Company operates with three strategic business units: Train radio & communication systems which builds communication system for railways and public transport companies; Visual & acoustic passenger information which is a system software that can be used worldwide for local and long distance traffic; Security & video management develops video-based solutions for process and building monitoring of train stations, public facilities and airports as well as the traffic infrastructure, such as video based release of hard shoulder on motorways.
