Idem GmbH agreed to acquire Funkwerk eurotelematik GmbH from Funkwerk AG.

Funkwerk AG is a Germany-based holding company specialized in solution-oriented information and communication systems for such applications as transport and traffic, vehicles security and data networks. The Company systems automate, rationalize and secure the operating processes of customer target groups. The Company operates with three strategic business units: Train radio & communication systems which builds communication system for railways and public transport companies; Visual & acoustic passenger information which is a system software that can be used worldwide for local and long distance traffic; Security & video management develops video-based solutions for process and building monitoring of train stations, public facilities and airports as well as the traffic infrastructure, such as video based release of hard shoulder on motorways. The company is also focusing on developi software for the management of complex processes including process control and process automation.
