Getty Realty Corp. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 43.66 million compared to USD 40.81 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 44.7 million compared to USD 41.18 million a year ago. Net income was USD 13.52 million compared to USD 30.68 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.26 compared to USD 0.64 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.26 compared to USD 0.64 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 86.03 million compared to USD 79.8 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 87.72 million compared to USD 80.5 million a year ago. Getty Realty Corp. is a real estate investment trust. The Company specializes in the acquisition, financing and development of convenience, automotive and other single tenant retail real estate. Its portfolio includes convenience stores, express tunnel car washes, automotive service centers (gasoline and repair, oil and maintenance, tire and battery, and collision), and certain other freestanding retail properties, including drive-thru quick service restaurants and automotive parts retailers. Its portfolio consists of over 1,093 properties located in 40 states and Washington, D.C., and its tenants operate under a variety of national and regional brands. It leases its properties to tenants under triple-net leases, including 911 properties leased under 44 separate unitary or master triple-net leases, and 178 properties leased under single unit triple-net leases. Many of its properties are located at trafficked urban intersections or conveniently close to highway entrances or exit ramps.
