Giantplus Technology Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 2,349.59 million compared to TWD 2,603.96 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 65.14 million compared to TWD 138.03 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.31 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.31 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 4,701.09 million compared to TWD 5,195.39 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 119.67 million compared to TWD 319.01 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.27 compared to TWD 0.72 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.27 compared to TWD 0.72 a year ago.
Giantplus Technology Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of liquid crystal display (LCD), touch panels, modules and others. The Company's major products include medium-sized and small-sized mono super twisted nematic (STN) LCDs and liquid crystal modules (LCMs), as well as medium-sized and small-sized thin film transistor (TFT) LCDs and LCMs. In addition, the Company provides touch screens.
