Grupo Elektra, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported net interest income was MXN 17,616 million compared to MXN 16,274 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 4,944 million compared to net loss of MXN 1,764 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was MXN 22.36 compared to basic loss per share of MXN 7.81 a year ago.
For the six months, net interest income was MXN 35,506 million compared to MXN 32,774 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 5,403 million compared to net loss of MXN 6,379 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was MXN 24.44 compared to basic loss per share of MXN 28.24 a year ago.
