HACHIBAN Trading Co., Ltd. announced that it expects to receive THB 4 million in funding from Hachi-Ban Co., Ltd.

HACHIBAN Trading (Thailand) Co . Ltd. announced a private placement for gross proceeds of THB 4 million on April 8, 2019. The company will issue common shares in the transaction. The transaction will include participation from returning investor Hachi-Ban Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:9950). Post completion of the transaction, the stake of the investor will increase from 49% to 69.4%. Post completion of the transaction, the registered capital of the company will increase from THB 6 million to THB 10 million. The company expects to close the transaction by April 17, 2019. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the investor.
HACHI-BAN CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the restaurant business. The Company operates in three business segments. The Restaurant segment manufactures raw Chinese noodles, ramen sauce and frozen dumplings, manages the Hachi-ban Ramen franchise chain headquarters, and operates ramen shops and Japanese restaurants. The External Sales segment sells Chinese raw noodle products and raw frozen dumplings. The Overseas segment conducts the import and export and sales of food based on restaurant franchise chain area licensing agreements outside Japan.
