Haesung Optics Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A076610) agreed to acquire 33.23% stake in Wonchang Packaging Industry Co., Ltd. from Jae Young Park and three others for KRW 33.2 billion on November 12, 2019. Under the terms of transaction, Haesung Optics Co., Ltd. will pay KRW 1.5 billion as down payment at contract date and remaining KRW 31.7 billion on closing. For the year ended December 31, 2018, Wonchang Packaging Industry Co., Ltd. had total assets of KRW 94.7 billion, net assets of KRW 57.3 billion and net income of KRW 3.9 billion. The transaction has been resolved by the Board. The transaction is expected to be compleetd by November 29, 2019. Gahyeon Accounting Corporation acted as external evaluation body.

The Companyâs products consist of camera modules, including five mega lens modules, five mega camera modules, eight mega lens modules, eight mega camera modules and13 mega lens modules, which are applied in mobile phones, as well as mobile lenses, glass lenses and black boxes, surveillance cameras and other optical modules for automobiles. The Companyâs products are mainly distributes to overseas markets.
