Addleshaw Goddard has advised IMIMOBILE PLC on its £543m takeover by CISCO SYSTEMS, announced this morning.

The AG team was led by Simon Wood and included Jeremy Cruse, Vinay Rawal and Jonathan Fletcher Rogers.

IMImobile, based in London, is a cloud communications software company. It provides software and services that enable businesses to connect with customers interactively through multiple channels including social media, instant messaging and voice calls.

The deal will support multinational technology company Cisco's efforts to create new ways companies can stay in touch with their customers. This could enable businesses to compete through their customer experience offerings as well as goods and services.

Simon Wood said: "IMImobile's suite of products and services will be a great addition to Cisco's portfolio of expertise in communications tech - the two companies are strategically aligned. We are delighted to have been able to offer our strategic takeovers experience in helping make this happen."
