CIMPOR - Cimentos De Portugal, SGPS, S.A. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported total operating income of EUR 459,391,000 against EUR 646,294,000 a year ago. Net operating income was EUR 35,556,000 against EUR 73,996,000 a year ago. Loss before income tax was EUR 40,268,000 against EUR 1,318,000 a year ago. Net loss for the period attributable to equity holders of the parent was EUR 40,740,000 or EUR 0.06 per basic and diluted share against EUR 17,198,000 or EUR 0.03 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Cash flows used in operating activities were EUR 18,181,000 against cash flows from operating activities of EUR 1,479,000 a year ago. EBITDA was EUR 80.1 million against EUR 123.4 million a year ago. CAPEX was EUR 28 million against EUR 48 million a year ago. Net Debt fell by 10% year on year. Sales was EUR 454.1 million against EUR 636.6 million a year ago.
